Upperclass students assist instructors in class and tutorial sessions of Law School curricular offerings. Students may earn one to four point credits as part of the 18-non-class points allowed for J.D. credit (see Rules for the J.D. Degree, Rules 1.1 and 1.12), subject to the following limitations: Students may not earn point credit for serving as a teaching fellow in more than two courses; students may not earn point credit for serving as a teaching fellow more than once in the same course; and students may not earn point credit for serving as a teaching fellow that exceeds the number of points of the course for which the service is performed. No writing credit. Special permission must be obtained to serve as a Teaching Fellow for a law seminar. Contact Registration Services.
