Columbia Journal of Transnational Law (JTL) publishes material on all aspects of public and private international and comparative law. JTL is one of the foremost international law journals in the world and is the second-oldest and second-most cited journal at Columbia Law School following Columbia Law Review. JTL is entirely student-edited and includes articles by professional authors and student members of the journal. Students are selected for staff positions following the end of their first year on the basis of grades and a writing sample. Selections for editorial positions are made from among the staff at the end of the second year.
