Columbia Journal of Gender and Law publishes interdisciplinary works related to feminism and gender issues. The Journal promotes an expansive view of feminism, embracing women, men and children of different colors, classes, sexuality, and cultures. All staff members' duties include substantive and technical editing and evaluating submissions. In addition, staff are encouraged but not required to submit Notes. The editorial board is selected from staff applicants at the end of each school year. Members of the board and students who write notes receive credit.
