  • Share/email this course
  • Print

In this era of globalization, conflict of laws problems, frequently unperceived, arise in an ever-increasing number of cases. This course will consider critically the development of conflict of laws rules over time, with special emphasis on recent trends in the analyses of choice of law problems. Special attention will be given to the conflicts that arise from the growing tendency to apply laws extraterritorially and the need for international accommodation of conflicting rules. Conflicts of jurisdiction will also receive extended consideration.
