Faculty and students affiliated with the Center bridge the worlds of theory and practice. By writing amicus briefs in Supreme Court cases, for example, faculty remain connected with the real world of law and politics. Two recent examples of such efforts are briefs filed in Northwest Austin Municipal Utility District Number One v. Holder and Bartlett v. Strickland.
