Philip Hamburger

Yale Law School, J.D. 1982; Princeton University, B.A. 1979. Before coming to Columbia, Hamburger was the John P. Wilson Professor at the University of Chicago Law School, where he was the Director of the Bigelow Program and the Legal History Program.

Kent Greenawalt

B.A., Swarthmore, 1958; B. Phil., Oxford, 1960; LL.B., Columbia, 1963. Main interests are in constitutional law and jurisprudence, with special emphasis on church and state, freedom of speech, civil disobedience, and criminal responsibility.

Andrzej Rapaczynski

B.A., Warsaw, 1968; Ph.D., Columbia, 1974; J.D., Yale, 1982. Joined the Columbia faculty in 1982. Adviser to the governments of Poland and the Russian Federation on the drafting of new constitutions and privatization.
