Through the Bringing Human Rights Home Lawyers’ Network, the Human Rights Institute provides a forum for Network members and members of several of the working groups/steering committees engaged in advocacy around human rights treaty ratification to share information about the treaty ratification process and potential for various treaties to progress towards ratification in the new Congress and Administration. Through meetings and other mechanisms for information sharing, HRI provides opportunities for strategizing about shared issues and learning from past experiences with treaty ratification campaigns.
