Human Rights Speakers
The Human Rights Institute hosts two Human Rights Speaker Series.

From Inspiration to Impact is a lecture series that invites eminent human rights scholars and practitioners to address current issues of interest in the human rights field.  It is co-sponsored by SIPA Human Rights Program, Columbia University Undergraduate Human Rights Program and the Center for the Study of Human Rights.

The Human Rights Practitioner Brown Bag Series provides more informal and intimate discussions with human rights law advocates about the intricacies of practicing human rights law.  This semester we are focusing on practitioners and academicians at various stages to discuss both the many career pathways they've taken and their current work in the human rights movement.
