Wednesday, January 21st: Marco Torsello /ELSC Forum Presentation. Professor Torsello teaches Comparative Private Law at Bologna University School of Law and is a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School. His topic will be "Common Features of Uniform Commercial Law Conventions" The event will take place at 12:15, in Room 600, William and June Warren Hall Light refreshments will be served.

Wednesday, February 25th: Robert Wintemute/ ELSC Forum Presentation. Professor Wintemute teaches European Union Law, Human Rights Law and Anti-Discrimination Law at the School of Law, King's College, University of London, where he is also Director of the LLB in English and French Law. In 2003-04, he is writing a book on "Anti-Discrimination Law" with the support of a Leverhulme Research Fellowship. His topic will be: "European Anti-Discrimination Law: The Examples of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity". This event will be hosted in conjunction with the Centre for the Study of Law and Culture and will take place in R 502, of Jerome Greene Hall, at 12:30. Light refreshments will be served.

Professor Jacques Ziller, European University Institute. Professor Ziller will participate in the ELSC Forum in April 2004. More information will follow.
