This course places particular emphasis on understanding the process of bargaining and mediation and analyzes a variety of dispute settlement theories. Students examine and compare the utility, efficiency, techniques, and tactics of various settlement procedures in cases involving labor management, family, commercial, international, and urban community disputes.
