The Office of Career Services would like to welcome you to Columbia and explain the timeline for our fast-approaching recruitment program.
Columbia's primary recruitment program, the Early Interview Program ("EIP"), is held at a hotel in midtown Manhattan August 12-13 and 17-18 and consists of more than 600 interview schedules.
It can be difficult for students to obtain appointments with these same employers outside of EIP, so if you intend to seek employment with a legal employer for next summer (2010), it is important that you participate in EIP.
Once you have paid your deposit, please contact Katie Brethel (kbreth@law.columbia.edu or 212.854.2483) immediately so that you can bid for interviews along with the other 2Ls. The sooner you contact us, the easier it will be for you to access the full range of employers available to you.
