SUMMARY:Refugee Resettlement
DESCRIPTION:After individuals receive refugee status in the United States, there are few resources available to help them build a life and community here. Eugenie Mukeshimana, founder of the Genocide Survivors Support Network, will lead a panel of speakers who will talk about particular challenges that refugees face and about how organizations can take a more holistic approach to their services. Sponsored by the Society for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (SIRR). Non-pizza lunch will be served. Contact Katherine Park, kjp2138@columbia.edu.
