SUMMARY:The Reset Foundation\: A New Model to Fight Mass Incarceration
DESCRIPTION:Come learn about The Reset Foundation, an innovative approach to transforming our country's failing incarceration system, and get involved in a new pro bono project! Reset's work is simple\: they are creating a new model of prison focused entirely on education and reentry. Founded by CLS alum JaneWilson '11, the organization is starting by a pilot school for incarcerated young adult males from low-income NYC neighborhoods. Jane and her colleagues would love assistance from law students who can tackle specific research questions to help them navigate the process.Come hear about the project from a recent alum who is using her law degree to achieve social justice in a groundbreaking fashion, and find out how you can get involved! A non-pizza lunch will be served. Contact\: Jared Miller, jsm2162@columbia.edu
