DESCRIPTION:Please join Professor Schulze and the European Legal Studies Center for this topical lunchtime presentation followed by a lively Q&A session. Lunch will be served.  Since 1994, Professor Reiner Schulze has been a Professor of German and European Civil Law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany. In addition to serving this capacity, he is also Executive Director of the Centre for European Private Law, which regularly advises the European Parliament, the German Bundestag, the German Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Justice in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia.Professor Schulze is a member of the Research Group on the Existing EU Private Law (“Acquis Group”), Council member of the European Law Institute (“ELI”), President of the European Law Faculties Association (“ELFA”) and co-editor of leading German journals on the subjects of European Private Law and Legal History. His research interests lie predominantly in the fields of European Private Law and legal history.
