SUMMARY:LLM Career Skills Workshop - Presenting Yourself in Writing (Public Interest)
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to effectively communicate your background and experience in written format. Attendance of one of the offered workshops is mandatory, for either Private Sector or Public Interest, depending on your career goals. The Office of Career Services workshops (9/20, 9/24, 9/25) will focus on the standard styles of resumes appropriate for the private sector in the US. The Social Justice Initiatives workshop (9/27) will focus on resume styles for careers in public interest or government. Cover letters and resumes for these fields are very different from one another. You may choose to attend either or both the private sector session and the public interest/government session. \nPlease bring your laptop. Lunch will be served.RSVP on Symplicity.
