DESCRIPTION:This event is mandatory for students participating in HRIP or on the HRIP waitlist. All students are welcome to attend. This lecture will survey the history of human rights and provide you with basic tools and a strong foundation to begin thinking critically about human rights issues. If you are in HRIP or on the HRIP waitlist and have a class conflict, you must email Ernesto Hernandez and Kiran Singh in advance of the lecture; otherwise, you will lose your eligibility to participate in HRIP.
