Startup Law Workshop
Wednesday, October 23, 2013 04:00 PM EDT
-- 07:00 PM EDT
Jerome Green Annex
Getting ready to launch? There is a lot to consider. Critical success components are likely to be unrelated to the skills and passions that you currently bring to your fledgling venture. Get up to speed on vesting, 83b elections, company type, where to incorporate, required documentations, allocation of founder's equity and of course the general location of pitfalls so you can avoid stepping in it.
Twice each semester, Columbia Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with Columbia Law School, will hold three-hour interactive sessions covering the most important legal issues facing startups. These are practical, how-to sessions with limited capacity so we ask that only well-formed, pre-launch or recently launched ventures apply. To ensure ample interaction between instructors and the teams, these workshops are limited in size so apply soon.
The next workshop is October 23rd, 2013 4:00 to 7:00 pm
Jerome Green Annex Columbia Law School Annex, first floor
The Startup Law Workshops are Facilitated by Charles Torres, Partner at Lowenstein Sandler.

Please send a sort description of your product or service and your business model with a link to your website.
