Come learn some self-defense with Professor Sicherman of the Business School! DVP will be hosting a 1.5 hour event during which you will be able to learn basic karate as part of our Sandy-displaced Domestic Violence Week. Professor Sicherman is a black-belt and runs the Shotokan Karate Club here at Columbia. So if you've ever wanted to take a karate class or you just want to brush up the skills you already have, take a break from your casebooks and come join us. All levels of experience are welcome!
