The ACLU invites you to hear Carl Mayer discuss his constitutional challenge to the portion of the National Defense Authorization Act that allows for indefinite detention of U.S. citizens. The district court issued a nationwide permanent injunction of the indefinite detention provision, which has been stayed while on appeal before the Second Circuit. Lunch will be served.
