The Institute for Religion, Culture and Public Life invites you to a lecture by Prof. Winnifred F. Sullivan, Professor of Religious Studies and Affiliated Professor of Law, Indiana University at Bloomington.
Her topic: Religion and the Roberts Court".
It is widely acknowledged that the jurisprudence of the religion clauses
of the First Amendment is up for grabs once again. What can we say
about the cases decided in the last eight years? Is the Court leading or
following - or perhaps doing something tangential - when it comes to
the religion of most Americans?
Political Science Professor Jean Cohen will introduce Professor Sullivan.
