J. Kehaulani Kauanui is an Associate Professor of American Studies and Anthropology at Wesleyan University, where she teaches on colonialism, Native sovereignty and critical race studies.
In this presentation she will explore the connections between Palestine and Hawai'i - both vivid and violent cases of settler colonialism and occupation - with a focus on indigeneity and self-determination in relation to activism and international law.
