Join members of the Lawyers Assistance Program from the New York City Bar Association for a presentation on the definition of character and fitness for admission to the New York Bar. The discussion will include a description of the admissions process as well as specific pitfalls and dangers. Topics will include how to address a prior history of mental health treatment, substance abuse problems, prior arrests and/or a criminal record.
