LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) people face serious threats to their safety and security around the world as a result of persecution, leading many of them to become refugees. Join the Society for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and Outlaws in a discussion with members of the immigration and asylum legal community regarding the challenges faced by LGBT refugees, what we as future lawyers should be aware of in the fields of domestic and international refugee law, and what we can do to help.
