Have you heard that privacy law is a growth area for lawyers, but are not quite sure what a privacy law practice entails? Curious to learn about policy initiatives to create a “Do Not Track” system for the Internet, similar to “Do Not Call” for telephones? Want to learn why the 2010-2011 Supreme Court term might just have been the Year of Privacy?
Join the American Constitution Society for a non-pizza lunch panel that will answer all of these questions and more. Joining us will be Marc Rotenberg, Director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center; Lisa Sotto, Managing Partner at Hunton & Williams’ New York office and Head of the firm’s Privacy and Information Management Practice; and David D. Friedman, a Professor of Law at Santa Clara Law School and privacy law scholar. Co-sponsored by the Federalist Society. Contact: Jocelyn Hanamirian, jvh2120@columbia.edu
