Drawing from her long career as a government environmental lawyer, Catherine McCabe, currently an Environmental Appeals Judge for U.S. EPA and recently the Deputy Assistant Administrator for EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, will share her perspective on some of the exciting challenges that government lawyers have faced - and continue to face - as they serve the public by enforcing the nation’s environmental laws. Highlights will include discussions of on-the-ground impacts of key Supreme Court and other cases, changing judicial attitudes, and an ever-evolving political climate.
