Emilie Pradichit of the United Nations Development Programme will discuss recent findings by the UNDP's Global Commission on HIV and the Law. The Commission's July 2012 publication titled "HIV and the Law: Risks, Rights & Health" reports on HIV and its legal consequences worldwide. The report
includes findings about HIV discrimination and criminalization of HIV transmission, and the way in which women and children are affected by HIV worldwide. A non-pizza lunch will be served. Contact: Caroline Stover, cas2260@columbia.edu
