Wilbert Rideau went to Louisiana’s death row in 1961, at the age of 19, and did not leave prison until 2005. His awarding-winning memoir, In The Place of Justice, tells the remarkable story of how he survived a decade on death row and solitary confinement, how we became the most celebrated prison journalist of his generation, and how he has now leads an enormously productive life in the free world.
Come hear Mr. Rideau discuss his life and bring your questions.
