Hector Villagra '94, Executive Director of the ACLU of Southern California and SJI's Fall 2012 Visitor from Public Interest Practice, will discuss how, despite procedural and other substantial hurdles, public interest litigation still can and does succeed. Young lawyers can contribute as public interest attorneys or pro bono counsel. Please join Mr. Villagra for a lunchtime discussion of these and other issues related to his work at the ACLU.
A limited number of student 1-on-1s with Mr. Villagra are available. For more information, email Brian Juergens at SJI (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Hosted by SJI. Pizza will be served.
