Steering Committee The Steering Committee suggests agenda items for the Board of Visitors' meetings. The goal is to make meetings valuable and productive for both BOV members and for Columbia Law School. In addition, the Steering Committee is charged with identifying promising initiatives for the Law School. Thus far, the Steering Committee has created three subcommittees focused on students, facilities and financial aid, and faculty. The students subcommittee created a survey in 2003 which was distributed to all Board members. The results of this survey have been distributed to various administrative offices at the Law School with the hope of involving Board members in more Law School activities.
