The Alumni Relations Office is proud to announce several new web initiatives, designed to give you the information you want the way that you want it. Keep reading to find out about the ways that Columbia Law School is on the web – and make sure to let us know what you think! To ensure that you receive the newest online communications, make sure your contact information is up to date.
Started in April 2009, the Columbia Law School fan page on Facebook has more than 1,000 fans! The fanpage posts news and events to Facebook so you don’t have to search to find them. Connect with friends, professors, and other Columbia Law School fans.
Columbia Law School's Online Magazine provides access to content from each printed issue, including features, news items, and alumni profiles. In addition, the site offers supplemental interactive features, such as dynamic maps, video and audio clips, and photo galleries. Readers are also able to browse web-exclusive content and to comment on feature stories. The Dicta portion of the website features regularly updated faculty opinions on current events.
As one of our continued efforts to go green and reduce the Law School’s carbon footprint, we are drastically cutting the number of traditional paper mailings in favor of eco-friendly emails. This means that alumni events will be web-based from invitation through registration, making it easy to RSVP from any computer anywhere. No more lost invitations, no more filling out response cards, no more searching for postage and finding out that the postal rates have increased.
Delivered directly to your inbox every month, In re Alumni was created to bring together all the Columbia Law School news and events you want to know about in one easy-to-find location. Every issue lists new events that link to our online alumni calendar, news articles, reunion announcements, and online magazine content. If you have not received your copy of In re Alumni yet, make sure your contact information is up to date by clicking here.
