Alumni Career Services
The Office of Career Services and Professional Development offers support to alumni who are job hunting, looking to make a career change or need counseling on subjects from resume writing to interview skills.

Judicial Clerkships
Columbia's Clerkship Office is available to help you in all of the ways that it helps current students.  The office provides individualized counseling, help processing and mailing applications, and access to Columbia Law School's online databases and resources.  Alumni considering applying for clerkships should contact Ilene Strauss (Executive Director of Judicial Programming & Academic Counseling) at ilene.strauss@law.columbia.edu or (212) 854-3255.

Center for Public Interest Law
The Social Justice Program's Center for Public Interest Law provides alumni access to the Center's weekly email of graduate employment and/or fellowship opportunities and assists job searches for those seeking a position in the public or government sectors.

Alumni Academic Records
The Registrar offers a number of different services relating to academic records, including replacement diplomas, transcripts, information on state bar exams, Columbia Law School degree verification, and national student Clearinghouse verification.

Online Job Listings
Subscribe to the online job listings, available free of charge to all Columbia Law School graduates.  Job listings are updated daily and are a great way to advertise or find a job. Sign up for an account here.

 

Networking

Online Community
The school’s online community helps you stay connected with Law School alumni. Once you create a profile using your UNI, you can update personal information, add class notes, send messages, and network with other Columbia graduates.  It's a great way to stay in touch with old friends, find lost classmates, or advance your professional and career goals.

Libraries
Alumni have access to a number of libraries across campus and online.  If you are interested in the Arthur W. Diamond Law Library, it is located in Jerome L. Greene Hall on the east side of Columbia's Morningside Campus.  Alumni have lifetime access to the library and can access all materials while on site (electronic resources are only available through public terminals in the library).  The Law Library also has a Firm Services Division with document delivery, so check to see if this is a resource available to your firm.  Please use the links above to find out about user privileges for specific libraries. Columbia Alumni Arts League
CAAL Members enjoy special benefits and discounts at more than 60 leading New York City cultural institutions. Travel and Lodging

Fitness
Membership at the Dodge Physical Fitness Center, located on the Morningside Heights campus, gives alumni and their families access to Columbia's pool, indoor track, squash courts, weight room, and other facilities. Please contact the membership office for current rates.

Computer Discounts

The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA), in partnership with GovConnection, Inc., now offers Columbia alumni discounted computers (notebooks, desktops, and tablets) and peripherals.
