Deferrals of admission are rarely granted, and are only granted in extenuating circumstances. Deferrals that are granted are for one year only. Each request for a deferral must be made in writing and will be decided on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Office of Graduate Legal Studies.
If granted a deferral, you must submit a non-refundable deposit of $500 and confirm your intention to enroll by contacting the Office of Graduate Legal Studies. Upon contacting the Office of Graduate Legal Studies, you will be informed of the steps needed to update your application, including submitting an additional tuition deposit of $500 and pledging not to apply for admission to other LL.M. programs.
